This process was time-consuming and resulted in a production rate that did not meet their operational goals. Implementing a Solution

Julian Electric discovered START International’s tape dispenser through their library of informative videos online that demonstrated its effectiveness and distribution capabilities. Intrigued by the potential benefits, they decided to implement the machine in their operations. The integration occurred in the spot placement area, where a dedicated base for distribution was established. The team developed a new working method for utilizing the machine and successfully launched it across four production lines. Remarkably, the implementation was seamless, with no difficulties reported, as the equipment was practical and easy to use.

What was the Result?

Since introducing START International’s tape dispenser, Julian Electric has seen significant improvements. The spot placement process went down from 19 seconds to just 7.7 seconds, resulting in an overall production time reduction of 90 seconds per piece. Enhanced ergonomics and overall ease of work further contributed to these gains.
